Founded in 2004 Sandqvist is a Stockholm-based brand which aims to become a leader when it comes to bags and accessories in the fashion industry. Challenging the role of functionality in design and practicing sustainability and respect for the environment at all times without compromising the aesthetics.

Staying true to their Scandinavian roots, the three founders still believe in Swedish values; sustainability and care for the environment, high-quality designs and an unbeatable approach to function.

Sandqvist use 100% organic cotton, sourced directly from independent farmers. They work with the Fair Wear Foundation, an independent organisation that verifies that suppliers are doing the best they can to provide fair working conditions throughout the supply chain. When synthetic materials are needed, they use recycled fibres from post-industrial and post-consumer waste. All the leather used comes from tanneries that have been gold or silver rated for their environmental work by the Leather Working Group. Finally they know that the most sustainable way to consume is to choose products carefully and make them last, this is why they offer repairs at their Sandqvist shops for all their products, aiming to extend the lives of their bags for as long as possible.
